Civil Design Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Coordinator to lead civil and structural design activities and NOC coordination throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures engineering deliverables meet project specifications, codes, standards, and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and structural design activities, ensuring timely preparation, review, and submission of deliverables.
• Review drawings, calculations, specifications and design reports for completeness, constructability and compliance.
• Manage multidisciplinary design interfaces with Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, Architectural and other systems.
• Handle design comments, review cycles and client/consultant feedback to secure approvals.
• Support construction teams with drawing clarifications, RFIs and design modifications.
• Monitor design schedules, identify delays and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; professional membership is a plus.
• 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, preferably in EPC, infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects and with utility authorities such as TAQA, DEWA, EtihadWE, SEWA.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural codes, standards and construction practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BIM tools, Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with design coordination, RFIs, technical queries and document approval workflows.
