Civil Draftsman – Oil & Gas EPC & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman to support the delivery of major Oil & Gas EPC, industrial, power, marine and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on civil and structural drafting, producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and working closely with engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop precise 2D and 3D civil and structural drawings, layouts, plans, sections and details using AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Support the creation and updating of as‑built drawings and design revisions in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide progress updates throughout project execution.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions and project documentation, following document‑control procedures.
• Review and verify drawings for compliance with project specifications, industry standards (ASME, API, BS) and QA/QC requirements.
• Assist in developing standard drawing templates, symbols and blocks.
• Stay current with emerging drafting technologies and CAD software enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑6 years of drafting experience, preferably on Oil & Gas EPC, industrial, power, marine or heavy civil projects.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, coordination and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and other 2D/3D drafting software.
