Civil Engineer – Bridges & Tunnels (UAE National)

About the role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join the team and contribute to innovative, sustainable bridges and tunnels projects across the region. Key responsibilities

• Carry out discipline designs to required standards and quality.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process.
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
• Ensure health & safety is embedded in all work practices.
• Meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager.
• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required.
• Contribute to the delivery of the BU strategy and sustainability approach.
• Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects.

Required profile

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in bridges and tunnels design projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, bridge and tunnel design standards, and construction methodologies.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel to project locations as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience with structural/bridge design tools.
