Civil Engineer – Construction & Maintenance Management

About the role

AKS Prime Group is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to lead the planning, execution and maintenance of its construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure that all works meet quality standards, regulatory requirements and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil construction and ongoing maintenance activities across multiple sites.
• Supervise contractors, consultants and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Monitor project progress, costs and schedules, reporting deviations to senior management.
• Review and approve drawings, Bills of Quantities and technical documents.
• Ensure all works comply with UAE construction regulations and standards.
• Oversee property refurbishment and facilities improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction and real‑estate sector.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and consultants.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and compliance requirements.
