Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified, detail‑oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The role involves assisting in planning, designing, coordinating and supervising civil construction projects to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications and project documents.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Prepare work plans, material requirements and progress reports.
• Identify project delays, technical issues and coordination challenges and report them to management.
• Conduct site inspections, check dimensions, levels, alignments and workmanship.
• Monitor concrete works, masonry, reinforcement, formwork and other civil activities.
• Ensure materials and construction methods meet project requirements.
• Maintain daily site records and progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Additional training in construction management, project planning, quality control or health and safety is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Civil Engineer or in a related construction engineering role is preferred, but fresh graduates may be considered for junior‑level positions.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, site inspections, quantity calculations and progress reporting.
