Civil Engineer – QA/QC Officer (Construction)

About the role

The Engineer – Civil will lead the implementation and maintenance of the project's Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems, ensuring all civil and building works meet approved drawings, specifications, standards and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Monitor compliance of construction activities with drawings, specifications, standards and contract requirements.
• Conduct inspections and testing of concrete, soil, reinforcement, blockwork, waterproofing and other materials.
• Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Inspection Requests (IRs).
• Identify non‑conforming works, raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain complete quality documentation for project handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil construction quality assurance/control.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to work with consultants, clients and authorities on inspections.
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining quality records and reports.
