Civil Engineer – Quantity Survey

About the role

The Civil Engineer (Quantity Survey) will support the Projects & Engineering Department by analysing project requirements, preparing scopes of work, performing quantity take‑offs and cost estimations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project requirements and coordinate with engineers to define the scope of works.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare cost estimates for new and existing projects.
• Develop project briefs, quotation approval forms, and assist in project planning, scheduling and monitoring.
• Support in the preparation of tender specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs) and technical evaluations.
• Guide the tendering process, including preparation of job specifications and evaluation of contractors/suppliers.
• Assist in the management of construction projects, including reviewing detailed drawings and administering sub‑contracts.
• Provide engineering and technical advice on construction, refurbishment or maintenance concepts.
