Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor - Interior Fit-Out

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC, a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry/joinery company working on residential, commercial, retail and corporate projects, is looking for a Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor. The role coordinates site execution so that projects are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with approved drawings and specifications. It is a full-time, site-based position.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, trades, subcontractors and material usage across interior fit-out and civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications and site conditions, coordinate clarifications and resolve execution issues with project teams.
• Monitor work progress, workmanship, dimensions and finishes against quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate carpentry and joinery, gypsum ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting and related installation activities.
• Track schedules, manpower, deliveries and site constraints, and report progress, risks and delays to project management.
• Maintain site records, inspection requests, daily reports and snag lists, and coordinate corrective actions through completion.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams to support inspections and handovers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree-level understanding of civil engineering, construction methods and interior fit-out execution.
• Experience supervising construction or fit-out sites, coordinating subcontractors and organising daily work plans.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications and material schedules.
• Working knowledge of joinery and carpentry installation, gypsum and ceiling works, partitions, flooring and finishing trades.
• Understanding of site safety procedures, housekeeping, material handling and project requirements.
• Competence in progress reporting, site documentation, schedule follow-up and coordinating labour and deliveries.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, time management and collaboration skills.
