Civil Engineer – Utility‑Scale Solar & BESS Projects

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to lead civil, structural and geotechnical engineering for our utility‑scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You will manage everything from site assessments and conceptual layouts to detailed designs and construction oversight, ensuring safety, cost‑effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor layout, installation and load‑testing (pull‑out tests) of driven or screw piles for solar racking and tracking systems.
• Direct reinforcement, formwork and concrete pouring for heavy‑equipment foundations, including BESS containers, inverters and transformers.
• Conduct field inspections and witness tests (soil compaction, concrete slump/cube tests, pile alignment) in line with the QA/QC plan.
• Enforce company and regulatory health, safety and environmental protocols across all civil execution activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 8‑12 years of site execution experience.
• At least 2 years of direct field execution on utility‑scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.

Required skills

• Pile load‑testing (pull‑out tests).
• Concrete placement, reinforcement and curing.
• Soil compaction and slump/cube testing.
• QA/QC documentation and compliance.
