Civil Engineering Trainee – Steel Structure Works (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated UAE National student currently studying Civil Engineering to join our Dubai team as a Civil Engineering Trainee focused on steel structure works. The role offers hands‑on exposure to site engineering, structural steel installation and project execution within airport logistics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineering and project teams with daily site and technical activities.
• Review structural steel drawings, layouts and related documentation.
• Support site inspections, installation work and progress reporting for steel structures.
• Track project updates, snagging items and coordinate site activities.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal teams as required.
• Prepare reports, checklists and project documentation.
• Observe and help enforce quality and safety compliance on site.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree or related engineering field.
• Interest in steel structures, construction and engineering projects.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and site activities.
• Good communication, teamwork and eagerness to learn.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (or similar engineering design software).
