Civil Estimator – Construction & Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

The Civil Estimator will support the Estimating Manager in producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for labour and materials on construction and interior fit‑out projects. This role ensures that cost proposals align with client specifications and enable senior management to assess project viability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Estimating Manager in preparing realistic cost estimates for labour and material required for projects.
• Procure labour and material costs from internal sources and evaluate price quotations to achieve competitive pricing.
• Prepare post‑award summaries detailing labour, material quantities, and quality in line with client specifications.
• Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying department to ensure the estimating process is professional and cost‑effective.
• Finalize tenders using the CCS system and submit BOQs derived from drawings for manager approval.
• Support the Chief Estimator in drafting pre‑ and post‑completion cost reports to assess project profitability.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in large construction or interior fit‑out projects.
• Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Coordination with Quantity Surveying department.
