Civil Foreman – Abu Dhabi Construction Site

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead and coordinate civil construction activities on a project site in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising daily works, managing crews and subcontractors, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil works including excavation, concrete, blockwork, plastering, tiling, finishing, drainage and related MEP coordination.
• Allocate tasks to workers, technicians and subcontractors, monitoring productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, MEP teams and other stakeholders to avoid delays and rework.
• Monitor material, manpower, tools and equipment needs, reporting shortages in advance.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping and enforce proper use of PPE.
• Report daily progress, issues, manpower status and material requirements to the Site or Project Engineer.
• Assist in resolving coordination issues between civil and MEP activities and support project handover.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in civil construction and basic MEP coordination, preferably with a contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, finishing works, construction safety practices and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, shop drawings and site layouts.
• Excellent manpower supervision and coordination skills.
• Good communication in English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus.
• Experience on UAE projects, especially in Abu Dhabi, is preferred.
• Diploma, ITI or technical certification in Civil Engineering/Construction or equivalent practical experience.
