Civil Foreman – Bridge Construction

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead daily civil works on bridge construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Dubai. The role involves supervising site crews, ensuring safety and quality, and coordinating with engineers and subcontractors to meet project targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil activities on bridge sites, including concrete works, structural repairs, formwork, reinforcement and waterproofing.
• Allocate manpower, tools and materials to ensure smooth daily execution.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements and work instructions.
• Monitor workmanship, conduct regular site checks and report progress, issues and requirements to the Site Engineer.
• Enforce Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and maintain housekeeping on site.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress and site activities.
• Support inspection activities and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related trade (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman on bridge construction or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete repairs, structural works, reinforcement, formwork and waterproofing.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Strong ability to lead site workers and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors.
