About the role
The Civil Inspector will join Bureau Veritas in Dubai to carry out civil engineering inspections, ensuring projects comply with international codes and standards. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting inspections in line with the company’s quality system.
Key responsibilities
- Review applicable Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plans and procedures.
- Validate inspection assignment documentation, including schedules, milestones and logistics.
- Define Bureau Veritas interventions and select appropriate inspection techniques.
- Execute inspections according to predefined quality plans and established procedures.
- Prepare inspection reports, handle non‑conformities (NCRs) and deliver required documentation.
- Ensure inspection quality aligns with the BV Quality System.
- Interpret inspection results and provide technical feedback.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 + years experience as a Civil Inspector.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
- Experience with civil inspection according to relevant codes and project specifications.
