Civil Inspector – Steel Structures

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Inspector specialized in steel structures, warehouses and industrial projects. The role involves ensuring that all civil and structural works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural and finishing works.
• Monitor construction activities related to steel structures, Pre‑Engineered Buildings (PEB), warehouses and industrial facilities.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications and project requirements.
• Review and validate shop drawings, method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams to resolve site issues.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, site records and quality documentation.
• Check alignment, levels, dimensions and workmanship of foundations, columns, beams, slabs and steel structures.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Structural/Civil Inspector.
• Proven experience in building construction, steel structures, warehouses and industrial facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality procedures and inspection practices.
• Experience working with engineering consultants is highly preferred.
