Civil Landscape Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Civil Landscape Inspector to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role involves overseeing daily operations and maintenance performed by O&M contractors on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, tests, evaluations and documentation of O&M contractor activities for civil systems such as roads, signage, beach areas, security gates, plant nurseries, pedestrian bridges and canals.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports and other site records required by the contract or client.
• Ensure all construction, operations and maintenance work complies with plans, specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a detailed daily diary of work activities, issues, approvals, labour and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with contractors, report non‑conforming methods and act professionally in all dealings.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university, with UAE Ministry of Education equivalency certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of experience inspecting O&M infrastructure or landscape projects, preferably in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and safe work practices.
