Civil Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Maintenance Technician to carry out preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of building fabric and civil assets across our portfolio. The role ensures structural integrity, functionality and aesthetic standards while adhering to safety and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and waterproofing systems.
• Repair cracks, damaged plaster, masonry, concrete surfaces, tile, marble, granite and perform painting and touch‑up works.
• Maintain and repair wooden doors, cabinets, wardrobes and carry out minor carpentry fabrication and installation.
• Support minor renovation projects, install partitions, gypsum boards and assist in space‑planning modifications.
• Follow HSE policies, use appropriate PPE and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete work orders, record materials used and assist in preparing maintenance reports.

Required profile

• ITI/Trade Certificate in Civil, Masonry, Carpentry, Building Maintenance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance, preferably in UAE/GCC environments.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and follow permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Physical capability to perform manual maintenance at heights and in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Masonry, plastering, painting, tiling and gypsum works.
• Carpentry and joinery, including door hardware adjustment.
• Waterproofing and leakage rectification.
• Use of hand tools, power tools and interpretation of building drawings.
• Experience with CAFM systems and mobile work‑order applications.
