Civil QA/QC Inspector – Overhead Transmission Line

About the role

TAQA is looking for experienced Civil QA/QC Inspectors to join its Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) project in Baniyas and KIZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all civil construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, client requirements, and relevant international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of civil works related to OHTL projects.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and related documentation.
• Conduct material inspections and confirm adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and project teams during inspections.

Required profile

• B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably on OHTL projects.
• Experience in India and/or GCC projects is preferred.
• Immediate availability, especially for candidates on a UAE visit or cancelled visa.
