Civil Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector to join the TAQA Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all civil construction activities meet project specifications, client requirements and international quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect civil works related to OHTL projects and verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and other quality documentation.
• Conduct material inspections and record results in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve non‑conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and project teams during inspections and project close‑out.

Required profile

• B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably on OHTL projects.
• Experience in the GCC or India is preferred.
• Immediate availability, preferably candidates on a UAE visit or cancelled visa.
