Civil Site Engineer – Bridge Maintenance

About the role

The company is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise daily bridge maintenance and repair activities in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily bridge maintenance and repair activities on site.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor workmanship, materials and progress.
• Maintain site records, daily reports and progress updates.
• Report issues, delays and technical challenges to the Project Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in bridge maintenance, rehabilitation or construction in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Experience with Abu Dhabi Municipality bridge projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Bridge maintenance and civil construction activities.
• Structural repairs, concrete repairs, waterproofing, protective coating.
• Expansion joints and bearing maintenance.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
