Civil Superintendent – Construction Manager for Large Energy Projects

About the role

This position offers an experienced Construction Manager the chance to lead on‑site activities for high‑profile, multi‑billion‑dollar energy projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards for a leading global energy client.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all construction and contractor deliverables, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Manage and control project cost and schedule for assigned disciplines, coordinating supply, equipment, subcontractors and consumables.
• Supervise field personnel, optimise work schedules and monitor progress against the plan.
• Lead safety, quality and environmental processes, including toolbox talks, inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering during design phases to improve constructability.

Required profile

• Degree with a minimum of 20 years of oil‑and‑gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> USD 500 M) with a construction‑management focus.
• Proven experience in large‑scale construction or site management, preferably within an oil‑and‑gas operating company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively for multi‑week periods and adapt work location as project needs dictate.
• Eligibility to obtain a CICPA certification and a UAE work visa.
