Civil Supervisor

About the role

Probuild for Building Maintenance Establishment, a UAE-based company offering building maintenance, technical services and property improvement, is hiring a full-time, on-site Civil Supervisor in Dubai. The supervisor oversees daily civil maintenance and repair work across assigned properties, supervising site teams and making sure work meets project specifications, safety standards and company quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site teams and coordinate tasks so that work is completed to specification and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and inspect completed work.
• Manage site resources, including materials, tools and subcontractors.
• Review work orders, assign tasks and resolve on-site issues.
• Communicate updates to management and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and enforce safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills and site supervision experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operations.
• Comfortable working on site in active residential, commercial or industrial environments.
• Solid quality control capability to ensure work meets safety, regulatory and company standards.
• Clear, professional communication with team members, contractors and clients.
• Relevant experience in civil maintenance, construction or building services, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and best practices in civil and maintenance work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and specifications.
• Use of basic project tracking tools.
