Cladder – Sheet Metal Installation for HVAC & Process Piping

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cladder to install, fabricate and finish sheet‑metal cladding on HVAC ducts, chilled water lines, process piping, valves, flanges, vessels and other mechanical equipment across ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Install aluminium, stainless steel, galvanized iron and other sheet‑metal cladding on insulated ducts, piping and equipment according to approved drawings.
• Measure, cut, bend, roll and fit cladding sheets; fabricate elbows, reducers, tees, end caps and custom sections.
• Secure cladding using rivets, screws, pop‑rivets, bands and sealants, ensuring proper overlap, weather‑proofing and finishing.
• Install removable cladding boxes for valves, strainers and other maintenance‑access components.
• Coordinate with insulation crews to verify insulation is correctly installed before cladding.
• Repair or replace damaged cladding during construction, pre‑commissioning or maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Cladder on HVAC, oil & gas projects.
• Vocational training, trade certification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Proven experience fabricating and installing cladding on HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, process piping, vessels and mechanical equipment.

Required skills

• Sheet‑metal fabrication (measure, cut, bend, roll).
• Installation of aluminium, stainless steel and galvanized iron cladding.
• Use of rivets, screws, pop‑rivets, bands and sealants for fastening.
• Reading and interpreting HVAC layouts, piping isometrics, P&IDs, GA and insulation drawings.
• Ability to work on‑site, in shifts and extended hours as project demands require.
