Classroom Assistant – Immediate Start (UAE National)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Classroom Assistant (UAE National) for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The school follows a British curriculum across Lower, Middle and Senior sections and aims to provide high‑quality learning opportunities within a sustainable, innovative community.

Key responsibilities

• Support individual pupils or groups inside and outside the classroom to ensure full participation in daily activities.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual education programmes.
• Provide academic assistance, including group and one‑to‑one instruction as directed by teachers.
• Monitor and correct pupils’ work, keep them on task, and report progress to teachers.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and handle photocopying and other classroom tasks.
• Promote health and safety, supervise pupils, and enforce the school’s behaviour policy.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school certificate; a bachelor’s degree is also acceptable.
• At least two years of experience in a school setting, preferably working with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Strong English language skills aligned with the school curriculum.
• UAE National status, with a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Commitment to the well‑being of children and a professional, solution‑focused attitude.
