Classroom Assistant (UAE National) – Al Rayana Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a UAE National Classroom Assistant for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role supports teachers and pupils throughout the school day, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Immediate start is required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom, promoting participation in all activities.
• Assist teachers with implementing and monitoring individual education programmes and tracking pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, and help develop their social skills.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and assist with photocopying and classroom set‑up.
• Monitor health and safety matters, supervise attendance, and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech and occupational therapists as required.
• Participate in team meetings, discipline according to school policy, and undertake any other duties assigned by the principal.
