Classroom Assistant (UAE Nationals) – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for UAE National Classroom Assistants to join Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start in December 2025. The school follows an American curriculum and serves mixed‑gender primary students, aiming to provide high‑quality learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to individual pupils or groups inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in activities.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring individual education programmes and support pupils with additional needs.
• Help class teachers with pupil records, displays of work, photocopying and other teaching support tasks.
• Supervise pupils, check attendance, and maintain classroom order and safety.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with specialists such as speech and occupational therapists.
• Monitor and correct pupils’ work, give group or individual instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Contribute to the development of behaviour policies and promote pupils’ self‑esteem.
• Perform health and safety duties and other tasks as required by the principal.

Required profile

• UAE national with at least a secondary school certificate or a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in UAE schools.
• Good English language proficiency (or the language used in the school curriculum).
