Clerk – Finance Operations (Dubai)

About the role

The Clerk will support Emirates Post Group’s finance operations by handling checks, ensuring compliance with policies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This full‑time position is based in Dubai and requires a detail‑oriented professional with a solid understanding of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies, SOPs and instructions to maintain controlled and consistent work.
• Handle confidential information to protect the interests of Emirates Post.
• Receive checks from the Payments Department, verify accuracy, and notify relevant parties.
• Communicate with beneficiaries to collect checks and obtain sealed receipts.
• Distribute checks to employees across regions and record deliveries in the Oracle system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date cash settlement data and stay informed on financial system changes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security standards.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience in finance operations, including check handling and clearance transactions.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Oracle financial system.
• General computer proficiency.
