About the role
The Clerk ensures that sufficient store supplies are available for patient care by managing medical consumables and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Efficiently distribute medical consumables to inpatient and outpatient units based on requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels, perform monthly cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage stock receiving, including unpacking and organizing according to company standards.
- Resolve stock queries from internal stakeholders and maintain store cleanliness.
Required profile
- Secondary school qualification (Grade 12).
- Relevant pharmacy store experience in a healthcare setting.
Required skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of medical consumables and medical terminology.
- Numerical literacy and understanding of stock‑taking principles and procedures.
