Client Services Ambassador

About the role

The Client Services Ambassador supports patient care by handling appointment scheduling, registration, insurance processing, and billing. This role ensures high-quality service and efficient administrative operations within Mediclinic Welcare Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration processes efficiently.
• Handle medical insurance procedures and related tasks.
• Oversee billing and cash‑up processes.
• Consistently meet customer service expectations to improve patient service quality.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school education (Grade 12); tertiary diploma or Bachelor’s degree in medical science, finance or accounting is preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Experience in a contact centre or healthcare environment is desirable.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with CRM software applications.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems.
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes.
• Understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
