Clinic Coordinator – Physiotherapy Patient Journey

About the role

Act as the primary point of contact for physiotherapy patients, coordinating their treatment journey from registration through follow‑up at Royal Hospital Sharjah.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient registrations, appointments, treatment sessions and follow‑up calls.
• Schedule initial assessments, treatment plans and rehabilitation sessions, managing therapist calendars and treatment room utilization.
• Liaise with physiotherapists, orthopaedic consultants, sports medicine specialists, neurologists and other referring specialties to ensure smooth communication and documentation.
• Obtain and track insurance approvals, liaise with finance on billing, estimates and treatment packages.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints and VIP services, promoting satisfaction and adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain databases, appointment trackers and generate reports on utilization, compliance, cancellations and revenue performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, hospital administration, physiotherapy or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in patient coordination, rehabilitation services or physiotherapy operations.
• Prior experience in UAE healthcare settings is preferred.
