About the role

The Clinic Support Assistant provides essential administrative and patient‑service support within a hospital setting. This role ensures smooth preparation of patient files, handles insurance documentation, and upholds confidentiality and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient, physician, and personnel information.
• Organize and assemble patient files and complete insurance approval forms prior to consultations.
• Function flexibly and efficiently under stressful situations.
• Serve as a role model for professional behavior, supporting nursing administration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to hospital policies and guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Develop and utilize professional networking within the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity toward patients, families, and staff.
• Advocate for patient care excellence and patient rights.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Assume responsibility for actions, decisions, and behaviors.
• Show initiative while working with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a clinical or healthcare support setting.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and compassionate patient interaction.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take responsibility.
