Clinical Consultant

About the role

The Clinical Consultant leads clinical discussions during the sales phase, provides training on Philips Enterprise Informatics solutions, and supports implementation to ensure alignment with clinical and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical discussions with healthcare customers during sales and opportunity phases, offering in‑depth expertise to address complex clinical needs.
• Conduct detailed workflow assessments at healthcare facilities to identify opportunities for optimizing clinical processes through product integration.
• Provide advanced training to healthcare professionals on the full functionality and best practices of Philips Enterprise Informatics solutions.
• Participate in solution implementation, ensuring deployments meet specific clinical and operational requirements.
• Manage project‑related activities independently, including planning, execution, follow‑up, and documentation.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations to support sales teams and help close deals.
• Resolve complex troubleshooting and support tasks throughout implementation and use.
• Handle sensitive or high‑pressure customer situations professionally while maintaining trusted relationships.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to refine products and services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Medicine, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare consulting, clinical education and training, clinical practice, or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise imaging, radiology, cardiology, or clinical informatics solutions (preferred).
• Strong business acumen and strategic‑planning capabilities.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills, including handling challenging customer situations and escalations.
• Highly autonomous with ability to manage own product upskilling and project activities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time across the Middle East and Africa.
