Clinical Dietician

About the role

The Clinical Dietician will support both inpatient and outpatient dietetic services across KCH Healthcare’s hospital and satellite clinics, including occasional home visits. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, designing evidence‑based care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive safe, high‑quality nutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual and group dietetic interventions for patients in hospital, clinics and community settings.
• Maintain a designated caseload, provide dietetic assessments, and monitor progress against therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with catering services to ensure meals meet clinical nutrition, safety and quality standards, and contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
• Deliver health education and counseling to patients, carers and healthcare staff, and represent the dietetic profession in multidisciplinary meetings.

Required profile

• UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or Health Science (post‑graduate diploma or master’s in Dietetics preferred).
• At least two years of recent experience in a relevant clinical or community dietetic service.

Required skills

• Resuscitation Certificate.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
