Clinical Facilitator – Nursing Education

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator will support, guide and plan the development of clinical competence for nursing staff across the Mediclinic Al Ain region, ensuring safe and high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the competence of all nursing staff.
• Ensure correct application of nursing procedures and policies.
• Identify training needs and design appropriate clinical training interventions.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required).
• Unit‑specific certificate or diploma (e.g., Emergency Centre, Operating Theatre, Critical Care) – advantage.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Nursing, Health Professions or Clinical Education – advantage.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS Instructor certifications – desired.
• Minimum 5 years of general or specialised clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in a multi‑cultural private‑healthcare setting or as a preceptor – advantage.
• 1–2 years experience as a peer mentor and/or workplace assessor – desired.

Required skills

• Continuous improvement methodologies.
• Facilitation and assessment skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and infection‑prevention and control.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.
• Proficiency in nursing processes, procedures and clinical risk management.
