Clinical Programme Lead - Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

About the role

The Clinical Programme Lead will head the specialised Pelvic Health physiotherapy service at Mediclinic City Hospital, delivering advanced assessments and personalised treatment plans for both male and female patients. The role requires autonomous clinical practice while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, service development, education and research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced assessment and evidence‑based treatment for pelvic health conditions, creating individual care plans and monitoring outcomes.
• Support service development, including clinical guidance, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to staff education, clinical audits and the creation of patient self‑management resources.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses and allied health professionals for multidisciplinary patient referrals.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with relevant pelvic health training; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years specialist experience in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy; 6 years post‑graduate experience and MSK background desirable.

• Antenatal and postnatal management knowledge.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and related terminology.
• Insurance claim procedures and UAE healthcare regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to design and lead clinical programmes in accordance with standards.
