Clinical Psychologist

About the role

The centre, a leading provider of neurology, psychiatry and psychology services in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join its outpatient team. The role involves delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to a diverse adult population.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and formulate diagnostic reports.
• Provide individual and group therapy for anxiety, trauma, mood, personality and adaptive disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with international clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, psychiatrists and other mental‑health professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to case discussions.

Required profile

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in a clinical setting.
• Licensed or eligible for a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license.
• Experience with evidence‑based therapeutic modalities.
• Western‑educated background preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and outcome measures.
• Ability to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions (CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, etc.).
• Strong clinical documentation and case management skills.
