Clinical Trials Research Coordinator (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a Clinical Trials Research Coordinator to join our Abu Dhabi site. The role will lead site‑level planning, delivery and oversight of clinical studies, ensuring they are conducted safely, on time and in compliance with GCP, UAE regulations and IQVIA policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead feasibility, start‑up and activation activities with the Principal Investigator and corporate research office, translating protocol requirements into actionable delivery plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day study delivery, including recruitment, screening, consent, visits and follow‑up, while monitoring enrolment targets, milestones and participant safety.
• Manage and coach Clinical Trials Research Assistants, set priorities, allocate work and address performance or quality issues.
• Maintain governance, quality and risk management by supervising essential documents, source records, CRFs/eCRFs, deviations, safety reporting and data queries; ensure audit and inspection readiness.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison for investigators, sponsors/CROs, clinical departments and facility leadership, leading study meetings and providing concise status reports.
• Coordinate trial operations and resource control, including logistics for samples, investigational products, inventory, equipment and secure storage.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of experience in clinical trial coordination or related research operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work onsite full‑time in Abu Dhabi and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and UAE regulatory requirements.
