Club Lounge Receptionist

About the role

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is looking for a polished, welcoming and guest-focused Club Lounge Receptionist to join its team. As the first point of contact for guests visiting Club InterContinental, you will deliver a personalised arrival experience, manage guest enquiries and ensure every interaction reflects the hotel's commitment to luxury hospitality. This is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, and manage arrivals and departures within the lounge
• Verify guest eligibility and access to the Club Lounge according to hotel procedures
• Maintain accurate records of guest visits, preferences and special requests
• Respond to enquiries about facilities, dining, services and local attractions
• Recognise VIPs and returning guests and anticipate their needs
• Coordinate with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Concierge and other departments on guest requests
• Handle calls, messages and guest communications, and assist with restaurant reservations and transport arrangements
• Provide recommendations, handle feedback and escalate concerns when needed
• Keep the reception area tidy and confidential, and stay informed about promotions and events

Required profile

• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Reception or a similar guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organisation and attention to detail
• Professional grooming, polished presentation and good hospitality etiquette
• Ability to handle guest concerns discreetly in a fast-paced environment and to work with other departments
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Good computer skills
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems is an advantage
