Clubhouse & Banquets Venue Manager

About the role

The Clubhouse & Banquets Venue Manager leads the exclusive private members club’s clubhouse, banquet and event operations, delivering refined hospitality experiences in a prestigious setting. This role ensures service excellence, seamless event execution and strong commercial results while upholding the venue’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the clubhouse and banquet venues, ensuring consistent service and operational excellence.
• Oversee planning and execution of weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations and bespoke events.
• Partner with Events, Culinary, Sales and operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery from preparation through completion.
• Lead, coach and develop the venue team, fostering accountability, engagement and a strong service culture.
• Manage guest and client relationships, proactively addressing feedback and ensuring effective service recovery.
• Drive venue performance through revenue optimisation, upselling, cost control, productivity and resource planning.
• Ensure all clubhouse and event spaces are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, licensing and company operational standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management or a related field.
• 5‑7 years progressive experience in Food & Beverage, Banquets, Events or Venue Operations, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role, preferably within a premium or luxury venue.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
• Proven expertise in premium events, banqueting and venue operations.
• Commercial acumen with understanding of revenue optimisation, cost management and operational performance.
• Exceptional guest, client and stakeholder management skills.
