Cluster AC Technician – Hotel HVAC Specialist

About the role

The Cluster AC Technician is responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of air‑conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems across both hotel properties. The role ensures HVAC systems run safely, efficiently and reliably, providing comfortable environments for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment including FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, split and package units, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, repair equipment, and charge refrigerants in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor system performance, temperature, airflow and pressure, and carry out regular cleaning of filters, coils and drain lines.
• Respond promptly to guest room and operational maintenance requests, and handle emergency breakdowns to minimise impact.
• Assist with BMS‑related alarms, conduct routine inspections of plant rooms, guest areas and back‑of‑house facilities, and support energy‑conservation initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment in the UAE or GCC.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and emergency call‑outs.
• Physically fit to work in plant rooms, confined spaces and at heights.
