Cluster AC Technician

About the role

The Cluster AC Technician is responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air‑conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems across both hotel properties. The role ensures HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while maintaining comfortable environmental conditions for guests and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air‑conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems across both hotel properties.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment such as FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, split and package AC units, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs, including refrigerant charging and leak detection.
• Monitor system performance (temperature, airflow, pressure) and ensure efficient operation.
• Respond promptly to guest room and operational maintenance requests, minimizing disruption.
• Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms, mechanical areas, guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Assist in troubleshooting BMS‑related HVAC alarms and coordinate with the Engineering team.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, refrigerant usage, and spare parts.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, ITI, vocational certificate or equivalent in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment in the UAE or GCC.
• Ability to read basic HVAC drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Physically fit, able to work in plant rooms, confined spaces and at heights.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and emergency call‑outs.
