Cluster Booking & Event Center Executive

About the role

The Cluster Booking Event Center Executive supports the hotel’s sales, reservations, and guest‑service functions, ensuring smooth communication between departments and delivering a high‑quality experience for Marriott guests.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by coordinating with relevant departments (Sales, Data Administration, Accounting).
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts such as rewards points or tickets.
• Promote Marriott brand awareness internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards point redemptions and all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards information accurately into the Marriott reservation system.
• Answer, record, and address guest inquiries, ensuring professional telephone etiquette.
• Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing, such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Uphold company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and maintain clear communication.
• Monitor team performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related experience in hotel reservations, guest services, or sales support.
