Cluster Commercial Director

About the role

The Cluster Commercial Director will shape and execute Hilton’s commercial strategy for the Abu Dhabi cluster, driving revenue across rooms, food & beverage, spa, events and other profit centres. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, this role ensures commercial targets are met or exceeded while aligning with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual commercial strategy and budget, using Hilton’s Commercial Focus process and business intelligence tools.
• Drive total revenue performance across all segments and channels, optimizing market share and cost of sale.
• Partner with Operations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to meet commercial targets for rooms, F&B, spa, events and ancillary services.
• Collaborate with the centralized Revenue team on pricing and inventory management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, Hilton Worldwide Sales and business partners to generate new opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Represent the hotel in commercial reviews, area calls and stakeholder presentations.
• Oversee local marketing, e‑commerce and public relations activities to align with the commercial vision.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing commercial team across sales, conferences, marketing and reservations.
• Ensure commercial systems and tools are fully utilized in daily decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial functions within the hospitality sector.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing cross‑functional partners.
• Active participation in executive leadership teams and contribution to overall business strategy.
