Cluster Commercial Director

About the role

The Cluster Commercial Director leads the commercial strategy for Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, driving revenue across all hotel departments and ensuring alignment with the cluster’s overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy and budget, using Hilton’s Commercial Focus process and business intelligence tools.
• Drive total revenue performance across rooms, food & beverage, spa, events and other revenue‑generating areas while optimizing market share and cost of sale.
• Partner with Operations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to meet or exceed commercial targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, Hilton Worldwide Sales and business partners to generate new opportunities.
• Oversee local marketing, eCommerce and public relations activities to align with the hotel’s commercial vision.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing commercial team, ensuring succession planning and talent pipeline development.
• Ensure commercial systems and tools are fully utilized and integrated into daily decision‑making.
• Deliver the commercial revenue budget and support the Cluster General Manager and Finance team in achieving TGOP and EBITDA targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commercial Director in UAE hotels.
• Minimum 3+ years in hospitality or travel industry revenue‑generating leadership roles.
• Proven ability to present strategic commercial plans to senior executives.
• Experience managing marketing, e‑commerce and financial data for strategic decisions.
• Strong track record of growing business and building trust with ownership and asset management.
