Cluster Director of Sales

About the role

The Cluster Director of Sales will lead a four‑person sales team across JA Ocean View Hotel and JA Hatta Fort Hotel, driving revenue, room‑night production and account growth. This senior position combines leisure expertise with corporate, groups and MICE sales leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans, revenue targets and market priorities for each hotel.
• Drive growth across Leisure, Corporate, Government, Wholesale, Luxury Travel, MICE, Events and Banqueting segments.
• Manage key source markets, territories and strategic accounts, personally handling priority negotiations.
• Build and maintain relationships with tour operators, DMCs, TMCs, corporate accounts, government entities, airlines, OTAs and GDS partners.
• Coordinate rates, offers and contracts while ensuring profitability and alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews, monitor performance and provide monthly business reviews.
• Inspire, coach and develop a high‑performing multi‑property sales team.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of hospitality sales experience with proven leadership across multiple market segments.
• Demonstrated success in Leisure, Corporate, Groups and MICE sales.
• Established network in travel trade, corporate, government and destination management sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, data‑driven decision making and ability to deliver measurable results.
• Knowledge of the UAE hospitality market, particularly Dubai and Hatta, is an advantage.

• Experience in performance reporting tools and commercial analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, forecasting and strategic planning abilities.
