Cluster Duty Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cluster Duty Engineer to join our maintenance team at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will oversee all mechanical and technical systems, ensuring smooth operation and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the preventive maintenance schedule for all mechanical and HVAC equipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the property.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and follow the preventive maintenance chart.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure satisfaction with quality and progress.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for engineering staff.
• Allocate work to team members based on capability to meet standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to diagnose faults and rectify subsystem issues.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and adaptable to unpredictable events.
