About the role
The Cluster Government Relation Manager will oversee all visa, permit and licensing processes for the hotel cluster in Dubai. Reporting to senior hotel management, the role ensures compliance with UAE regulations while supporting smooth operations for staff, entertainers and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Process employment, residence and guest visas, including those for entertainers.
- Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Municipality, DED and other regulatory bodies.
- Monitor renewal of trade, liquor, chamber of commerce, civil‑defense and other licences.
- Stay updated on changes to laws, forms and procedures.
- Submit required documents for cancelled or absconding employees to immigration and labour offices.
- Coordinate departure and exit formalities after visa cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements to avoid penalties.
- Support hotel management with government approvals, inspections and documentation.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a large luxury hotel (minimum 500 keys).
- Pre‑opening experience is an advantage.
- Proven track record as a Government Relation Manager or similar role.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, immigration procedures and government regulations.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
