Cluster Groups Manager – Proactive

About the role

The Cluster Groups Manager – Proactive supports the Four Points by Sheraton cluster on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai by actively generating and converting group and event business. The role focuses on new business acquisition, growing existing accounts, and maximizing group room nights and revenue across the assigned hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively solicit, develop, and convert group and events business across the cluster hotels.
• Identify new business opportunities and devise strategies to meet individual and cluster revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to generate repeat and incremental group business.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, FAM trips, trade‑show participation, networking events and site inspections.
• Develop relationships within the local business community to expand the customer base.
• Coordinate with on‑property and off‑property sales channels to avoid duplication and ensure complementary efforts.
• Cross‑sell and refer business between cluster hotels based on availability and customer needs.
• Maintain an active, qualified sales pipeline and follow up on leads, enquiries, proposals and opportunities.
• Ensure smooth handover of group business to operations teams for flawless execution.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services or front‑desk roles, or a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple client relationships.
