Cluster Kitchen & Laundry Technician – Sheikh Zayed Road

About the role

The Cluster Kitchen & Laundry Technician supports the Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road by responding to guest repair requests and maintaining all kitchen, laundry and related mechanical equipment. The role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of kitchen, laundry and mechanical room equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, machines and equipment, and carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and log daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Execute minor repairs: painting, drywall, wood trim, light bulbs, A/C filters, plumbing (unclog drains, plunge toilets), electrical components, and landscaping sprinklers.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Program TVs, perform housekeeping‑related inventory duties, and update HVAC schedules via computer.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and respect for company assets.
