CNC Machinist – DMG, Mazak, Integrex

About the role

The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing high‑quality machined parts by programming, setting up and operating CNC equipment. The role focuses on threaded connections and oil‑and‑gas components while ensuring safety and equipment care.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
• Produce and machine threaded connections and parts according to drawings and CNC programs.
• Inspect and verify each thread and part against specifications.
• Maintain a neat, clean working environment and protect company equipment.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Superintendent and verify work orders.

Required profile

• Industrial/Manufacturing Diploma or vocational training in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum two years experience in turner, machinist, and fitter trades.
• Experience with DMG MORI, Mazak Integrex, and Doosan CNC machines.
• Background in oil & gas manufacturing.

Required skills

• Operating CNC machines (DMG MORI, Mazak Integrex, Doosan Puma700LM, DBC130L).
• Programming and setting up CNC equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Machining rotary shoulder connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam).
• Proficient English communication for following written and verbal instructions.
